- The partnership provides Trainline customers with access to all train routes in Austria, including saver fares and the popular ÖBB international night train services
- Trainline is the only independent platform to connect all major rail and coach carriers in Austria – as well as connecting to carriers in neighbouring countries
London, Wednesday 28 March, 2018: Today, Trainline, Europe’s leading independent rail and coach platform, announces a partnership with Austrian Railways, ÖBB. The partnership means that Trainline now provides its customers with full coverage of Austrian rail and coach, making it the only independent digital platform to connect all the country’s carriers. Trainline also connects customers, on a single journey, to carriers in neighbouring countries including Italy, Germany and the Czech Republic.
Customers can book tickets through Trainline’s website and app, as well as access real-time information, such as platform numbers and journey live-tracking, in the Trainline app whilst on the go. Trainline now also offers the possibility to book the popular airport transfer in Vienna, the City Airport Train (CAT).
Trainline’s partnership with ÖBB already includes saver tickets on all train routes in Austria and will soon offer access to the Nightjet service, for overnight train travel from Austria to popular destinations in neighbouring countries.
